Thanks, Esther!

While I'm certain that most of us have good intentions, there's a lot we are ignorant about. It does break my heart, just a tad, everytime I travel abroad and hear how much others want to be like us here. An abundance of cash isn't that great.

Welcome to the site! :)

I particularly like #15, though not for the reasons others might. I find it amazing the number of people who go to church just because that's what they always done. As one of the fairy tale believers myself, I might be inclined to disagree with you on some of the rest, but you're definitely spot on with that. (And the rest of the list, of course.)

I think you just took my post way too much to heart. Like with the all quotes must be intellectual comment. C'mon. You know as well as I do what I'm talking about. But I'd really rather not debate the merits of who's right or wrong. I appreciate your comment, regardless. Thanks for getting involved.

Yes--I hate having to hold back because someone might not like what I have to say, but then again...I guess that's the beauty of owning your own blog. :) I have learned, however, that sometimes it's better be a bit more diplomatic. Then again, I was probably so brash with this post in order to make a strong point.

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be sure to check out your site!

You just spent almost 1200 words being condescending to the majority of an entire country. Your comment there could easily be a response from all the American's you've shoehorned into a box in this article.

You may have a point, although I think there's some truth in a lot of these statements, whether we like them or not. This was my first post ever, so the tone is a bit more brash than I've accustomed to, I'll admit.

No, I just don't like the attitude. I certainly respect you and agree with most of this site, I just think this attitude does more harm than good.
