If you think meat's subsidized or that that's where all the food corruption is, I've got oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.  You should see the markup on grain and soy products.  And it's not meat we're exporting to developing countries either, and more's the pity because the grain and beans are not enough and we still have to send vitamin A pills to their poor kids to save their eyesight. (Not a single shred of vitamin A in any plant food.  That's right.  It's beta carotene, and small kids can't convert beta carotene.  Neither can a lot of adults.) If we're gonna expose the bullshit we probably should go ahead and look at *all* of it.  We can't afford to do a half-assed job because then we continue the bullshit that's already caused a lot of damage.
