This excites me, too. I could write a little daydream about nibbling tropical fruit ocean-side, sipping smoothies, and enjoying spa treatment. (I happen to know of at least one really beautiful, awesome spa down in Costa Rica thanks to a former job. Massages, mud masks, and scrubs? Ah, so nice!) I’ll probably pass this time around because money’s a bit scarce. However, I’d love for you to check in with those of us who can’t make it. Show us what a good time you’re having to inspire us to 1) get brainstorming from our laptops and 2) make big money to go next time. Because I’m sure there’ll be a next time. And that next time? I’m so bringing some flowy dresses, cute sandals, my laptop, and all these knots in my back. Oh, and pretty pens and paper.

I really like your idea and have actually recommended your blog/newsletter to some of the participants in a conference I am a part of, Be The Change (http://www.globalvolunteernetwork.org/be_the_change/). Essentially it’s a week long conference for people looking to be start their own business (specifically with a social entrepreneurial focus), work for the UN or start their own non-profit as well as for people who know they want to be part of something bigger but not quite sure what or how. We always have our locations in AMAZING places to help people feel like it’s also a vacation because the presentations and discussions can get quite intense! I’d love to have you on a course or am happy to offer any suggestions on what we’ve found works and doesn’t. You have a great idea, I hope you stick with it!

I’m most def in on this one (yea, I just used most def (although I guess it should be mos’ def) in a real live -or sort-of live- conversation). I like this for so many reasons, including that I think it’s a great idea to mix business and pleasure (assuming both individuals are mature enough to handle such a combination). I’m never able to resist making some kind of party out of things when possible. So I imagine you, being so involved with your clients and readers in the virtual world, must be dying to have some fun with them in the real world – where tequila shots are possible!

I like the group thing, too. That scavenger hunt thing I mentioned is way more fun with groups.
